Who are we?

Our association “Il Battito che Unisce” was born in 2008, among the hills of the Italian region Le Marche, in a small town called Moie (Ancona province), thanks to a group of laic people willing to give support and help to the Carmelite mission of Chang’Ombe (Tanzania)

What do we do?

The project aims to the realization of a school building able to host up to 500 children, comprehending a school canteen, a dormitory, a lecture hall, staff accommodations for teachers and nuns, a dispensary, a water well equipped with cisterns and pumps, photovoltaic installation and a gardens

What has already been done

Purchase land for the campus

Land plot on which the school campus will rise, was purchased The extension of the plot reaches 10 ecari

Land fencing for campus

The fence surrounding the land on which the school campus will rise, was realized

First school building was realized

The first building composing the campus was completed, including the varnishing, the windows, the railings and the flooring

Cisterns construction

After the well perforation some cisterns have been installed and the water reached the first building
